Mark Lee Levine has been a Colorado real estate, tax and business attorney, real estate broker, investor, and professor for over 35 years. His clients include individuals, families and businesses, buyers and sellers, landlords and tenants, commercial and residential developers, banks and other financial institutions. Mark’ s expertise has made him a prime expert witness in the areas of real estate, tax, business and brokerage law; this is on a local and on a national level. Mark is a Full professor and the Director of the Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management at the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. He has also lectured throughout the U.S. and internationally. He has written 52 books and over 300 articles. He holds certifications and licenses that include, among others, CCIM, CIPS, CLU, ChFC, CPM, CRB, CRE, CREA, CRS, SRS, GRI, MAI, FRICS, FIABCI, Cert. FIABCI, DREI and GAA. Academic honors include, for example, the American Jurisprudence Prize for Excellence (Contracts and Constitutional Law), ARES Fellow (American Real Estate Society), University of Colorado Distinguished Instructor Award, NAIOP Distinguished Fellow, the Cecil Puckett Award from the University of Denver, and two Fulbright Scholar awards.
He is one of the foremost experts in the U.S. on American and international real estate. He has traveled as an international delegation leader to locations throughout the world. This international work includes Canada, USA, Mexico, Central and So America, Europe, most of Asia, Iceland, Australia, New Zealand and many other locations. Mark has also authored the only US Global text on International Real Estate, now in its 3rd edition.
